Day 1
Early departure with a scenic drive south-west through the Ugandan countryside and the terraced hillsides of Kabale. Arrive in the Bwindi region by evening; briefing and early rest ahead of trekking day.
Day 2
Early briefing at park headquarters, then a guided trek through montane rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family, culminating in one hour observing the group at close range. Afternoon at leisure or an optional Batwa cultural experience.
Day 3
Morning departure with a stop en route — the Lake Bunyonyi viewpoint or the Equator, depending on routing via Entebbe or Kigali. Drop-off at the airport in time for evening international departures.
